I got my laundry ball from Carrefour S'pore in March 2010. We've used it for a month. It's been good clean laundry without using detergent or softener. We're very happy with it.

But since there's no detergent scent after washing, it takes a little getting used to. I see from the other reviews that some users add a little detergent into the wash with the laundry ball. This should help.

Just to share an idea: Our dirtiest stuff are the floor towels. We do a load of these without putting in any clothes. For this wash load, we use detergent as usual. We dont wish to use the ball for our floor towels not because we dont think it's effective. We dont want the ball to be "contaminated" since it is good to use a thousand times over. We prefer to reserve that only for our clothes . Super dirty stuff get cleaned by detergent.

Do remember: Use a warm wash programme, and let your laundry soak with the ball if possible. The box says this will give better wash results. (Posted on 4/29/10)

I wasn't sure if these would work, since my whole life you hear you have to use soap for everything! My mom had a set and when I was visiting i washed several loads with no detergent, and I was shocked that my clothes were so soft, smelled fresh and were clean (the most important part). Before I left, my mom took me to the store where she bought them, and I've been using them ever since! I have two young children, so that to me is a real test this product works! If there are items that are stained a little heavier, I'll soak the laundry with the super washballs for an hour or sometimes overnight...and I've gotten great results, time and time again! I found out about this super washball through my friend and finally got one for myself. Now I am pretty satisfied with it. Since I don't do many outdoor activities, usually my clothes and towels don't have heavy stain and super washball is good enough to wash them. Also, it is quite convenient because I don't need to carry a big detergent bottle to the laundry room which is located on the basement floor. Most importantly, this product is good for environment. I ordered this product about a month ago, and I enjoy doing laundry with super wash ball. It works very well with color clothes. The color becomes brighter and vivid. For white clothes or dirty one, use spot remover before put it into washer.
it's not a magic ball, but it surely gives you satisfying result.

I notice there are many similar products with lower price, but they look so cheap in appearance. I think some of those products are not worth to try at all.

I ordered this product for my kids. I feel safe after changing from detergent to this wash ball. It's better working after soaking about 1 hour in a washer and no need to add softner. It makes the clothes very soft. I liked it so far.
I highly recommend this product for atopic skin.

I don't have my own washer in my house so I go to coin laundry store every week. I was concerned about the public washer since they are not in good care. however, after I change to superwashball, I feel better since there's no detergent left over in my clothes and it's very handy to carry. For white cloth, I add baking soda. it turns out well. for heavy clothes, try with little bit of detergent. If you go to coin laundry store, I highly recommend this washball.

I was surprised that there are so many kinds of laundry balls. I found that this product was the only one which was approved by FDA. This was sold $80-90 in Korea. I have already heard the effectiveness of this product from my friends and family.
I bought this product here with a better price and it cleans the clothing quite well. I am not worried about the remains of detergent. I used to rinse the clothing one more time after wash. Since I used this ball, I am not doing it any more. It saves water, too!

I have been using those balls and I had no problem with them. First of all, I do not buy detergent since then. I got used to smell of detergent which made me think it is impossible to wash clothes without detergent. My husband works out everyday and I have loads of laundry without heavy dirts. They work very well even for white T-shirts. I am spraying spot remover on some dirty spots and wash clothes with wash balls. I feel the performance of those balls works well as that of detergent does. It is okay to wash only with washballs. To some people who get used to the smell of detergent like me, I would recommend that you could use fabric softener with those balls which makes them softer and fresher. After wash, I put them in the dryer and clothes and towels become more softer.
Enjoy the money you do not spend on the laundry detergent and feel free from the ecological contamination for our children.

I've been really pleased with their performance. I am using those only when I wash clothes and towels with little dirt and stain. When I wash heavy dirty clothes, I am using those with 1/5 amount of detergent I used to use. I find those amazing because my daughter has been suffering from itch skin and I expect the remains of detergent will be disappearing soon as I wash the clothes without detergent.
